To minimize the natural risk of warping, especially in changing climates or under direct sunlight, each board goes through an extended drying process before being shaped. This helps ensure greater stability over time.
The grid lines are drawn, not engraved, leaving the surface completely flat. While it doesn't have the raised grid of true Tachimori boards, it offers a similar smooth aesthetic and traditional feel—as close as you can get without breaking the bank.
